an old drawing, of what was supposed to be an oc (original character). i decided to scan it into the computer and actually color it for some cg practice. it's my first (finished) cg of any drawing. i am somewhat happy with it. :/ obviously chinese-inspired. i wanted to add a watercolor-y look to it too; i experimented with a new coloring technique. not sure if it's good/bad/etc.

the story behind the drawing: the girl's face is not drawn for a reason: 1) when i tried drawing the face, it looked messed up (hehe) and 2) being faceless is symbolic. she's lost a dearly beloved, and all reason in her world is gone. she became emotionless, and wears a mask to protect her true feelings within.

i was going to write a story about this girl... but i haven't gotten around to it yet.
